    Pros +

    • We loved the atmosphere of course. The smell in the lobby was heavenly and took to Hawaii in Orlando. We visited Trader Sam?s Grotto after getting on the waitlist and had an experience to remember!
    • This was my fifth stay at the Polynesian Village Resort and it is always a throw-back to a better Disney World. It has very nice theming (something new DIsney lacks) and the music and atmosphere is very nice.
    • I have always loved the Polynesian the atmosphere is what we like most.

    Cons -

    • The proximity of our building was one that was a bit far from the main lobby area so trying to get there took some walking time and the elevator was so small our luggage cart just barely fit!
    • This hotel was not worth the money. The staff at the hotel was grumpy, the food was bad, there was construction and we were placed in a room where we woke up to jackhammers at 7am and workers at my windows. The monorail was not working 90% of the time.
    • 255 not enough. greeted by theodore nice but couldnt get tech to work. said we would get text when room ready- never got. went back spoke with a young girl- she was short, snippy and rude- I am still angry! spoke with another woman she

The location and the bath products. The contemporary bathroom was good too.

    Horrible food

Proximity to Magic Kingdom and the pools.

Meals were very disappointing. Poor quality for the expensive price.

Besides getting bedbugs and being locked out of my room at 11:30 at night because our wrist wouldn't work and stayed on the phone for 20 min being on hold in the hallway just to say you have to come to the front desk to get new bands

While my wife and kids are sleeping in the hallway and being mis treated at the park especially toy story park which was the park we wanted to go to yes it all sucked !!

Great location. Nice staff. Good food/performance at Luau. Room was facing parking lot/monorail so not a great view of either the pool area or lake. Enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

    Location to park.

It was not very clean and the staff was not very polite.

Pool is great. Friendly staff. Great restaurants. Easy access to monorail

Upgraded to club level but no one explained the benefits.

    Proximity to Magic Kingdom

How long the wait was to get to and from Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-25-2015

    no complaints at all

The gardens are nice. The walk to the Grand Floridian is short if you have dinner reservation.

This hotel is very dated. Even with the many updates and refurbishments it still feels like a old brown motel from the South. While we were there, the monorail was out of order for two days.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-2-2015

This hotel has it all. Excellent staff, beautiful rooms, great atmosphere with lovely well maintained grounds. The monorail to Disney and Epcot a plus!
